Download these sentence starters for collaboration developed by CPM. Some ideas for how you might use them include: (1) have them projected in your classroom during teamwork, (2) have them up on posters around the room, or (3) print them off for students to have in their notebooks, or (4) get them laminated and taped on student desks to help promote collaborative discussions, (5) or have students take notes on them and really commit them to memory! There are four categories of sentence starters that include:
- Start problem (What do you think about ____?
- Justify your thinking (I think ___ is true because ___.)
- Productive struggle (How did you ___?)
- End a problem (One idea to help me remember this is ___.)

Digital Tool of the Week:
Math Help Videos
I previously shared several google docs that had Math Help Videos that have been compiled and organized by course and chapter, but have recently compiled these resources into a more user-friendly and more visually appealing website that has Videos, Homework Help, and Additional Info & Practice by course @ https://unit4mathresources.weebly.com/!
In the past I have shared videos like these with parents and students via email or on a handout at parent teacher-conferences. I encourage you to utilize “Ctrl+f” and tell kids how to search for things or help them bookmark this page! You can also share this with your intervention or flex teachers if they are looking to support students in past or upcoming coursework.
